BIT Life Sciences' 1st Annual World Congress of Vaccine

December 1 - 5, 2008

This 1st Annual World Congress of Vaccine is planned to be the largest meeting of its kind, devoted exclusively to research on vaccines and associated technologies for disease prevention and treatment.  The theme of the Congress is "Build an Olympian Meeting Platform for Vaccine World."

International and domestic experts will lead sessions and panel discussions under eight educational tracks covering a broad spectrum of current vaccine development issues in both human and veterinary vaccinology.  Opportunities for networking and scientific collaboration critical to advancing vaccine science and development will be available through audience discussions, poster presentations, sponsored exhibits, evening ceremonies and receptions.

The Congress will serve as an interface to bring together Researchers, Clinicians, Epidemiologists, Microbiologists, Immunologists, Molecular Biologists, Public Health Officials, Representative from the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industries, and Policy Makers from around the world to work towards saving and enhancing lives and exploring the latest developments in the field of vaccines.

43rd National Immunization Conference

The goals of the Conference are to provide information that will help participants provide comprehensive immunization coverage for all age groups and explore innovative strategies for developing programs, policy, and research to promote immunization coverage for all age groups.

Registration:

A link to Online Conference Registration will be available from the CDC Conference Website beginning around September 1, 2008. Registration fees and deadlines for the 43rd National Immunization Conference are as follows:

-"Early Bird" registration (through January 30, 2009): $225
-Regular registration (through March 13, 3009): $250
-Late and on-site registration (after March 13): $275
-One-day registration is $150 and allows for attendance for one day of three and a half days the conference. To attend more than one day, a complete registration must be purchased.

Call For Abstracts:

Abstracts for the 43rd National Immunization Conference will be accepted via the Online Abstract Submission System. A link will be available on the CDC Conference Website beginning around September 1, 2008.  The deadline to submit abstracts for the 43rd National Immunization Conference is November 14, 2008.  Authors will be notified of decisions on abstract acceptance no later than January 16, 2009.

National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM)

August 2009

August observation of National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) is a great way to rally local organizations in your immunization education efforts. Communities are encouraged to plan local health screenings or fairs, media events and other related immunization outreach efforts during the month of August to promote the benefits of immunization.
